GTTES 2025
GTTES 2025 (Global Textile Technology & Engineering Show), held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai from February 21–23, 2025, delivered an impactful showcase of cutting-edge technologies and engineering solutions in the textile industry.

Focused on the rapidly evolving landscape of textile machinery, automation, and sustainable innovation, GTTES 2025 brought together the latest developments across spinning, weaving, processing, digital printing, knitting, and green manufacturing. Organized by the India ITME Society, the event saw participation from over 210 exhibitors representing 39 countries, reaffirming its reputation as one of Asia’s most prominent platforms for textile technology and engineering.

The exhibition featured a wide spectrum of advanced machinery, automation systems, sustainable production technologies, and innovative solutions—from fiber to finishing. With over 25,000 visitors including key decision-makers, entrepreneurs, and international buyers, the event fostered business development and global partnerships. A major highlight of GTTES 2025 was its focus on smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0 integration, and circular economy practices. Live technology demonstrations, B2B matchmaking sessions, and product launches provided opportunities for meaningful engagement and strategic collaborations.

The event also hosted significant knowledge-sharing forums, such as the Symposium on Indigenous Development of Textile Machinery, organized in partnership with VJTI, FSID, and IISc Bangalore, and a special session by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) highlighting the role of quality and standardization in the textile machinery sector.

Prominent launches in the areas of weaving, digital printing, and industrial solutions drew considerable attention. Key exhibitors included ColorJet India, Premier Looms, Vertex Edge Tech, Ingersoll-Rand (India), Caru – Natex, and many others, showcasing innovations across textile value chains.

With the presence of international delegations from Sri Lanka, Ghana, Ethiopia, and East African nations, GTTES 2025 enabled cross-border trade dialogues and strengthened India’s positioning as a global textile machinery hub. As the industry moves toward smarter, greener, and more connected production ecosystems, GTTES 2025 stood out as a crucial enabler of transformation—offering insights, inspiration, and investment opportunities that will shape the future of textile engineering.
