Madhya Pradesh positions itself as an emerging investment hub with strong focus on textile sector growth and industrial expansion.
Mohan Yadav has projected Madhya Pradesh as one of the country’s rapidly expanding investment destinations, encouraging industrialists from Rajasthan to explore business opportunities in the state.
Speaking at an investor interaction session titled Investment Opportunities in MP held in Bhilwara—widely known as Rajasthan’s textile hub—the Chief Minister highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s strategic central location, calling it a key advantage for trade, manufacturing and exports. He invited investors to connect with what he described as the “heart of India” and a growing centre of economic opportunity.
Industry-Friendly Policies and Infrastructure Push
Yadav emphasized that the state offers a favourable investment ecosystem backed by abundant natural resources, strong infrastructure, transparent governance and simplified industrial regulations. He noted that the government has introduced 18 new industry-oriented initiatives aimed at accelerating industrial development.
To ensure quicker approvals and timely redressal of investor concerns, the Chief Minister has assumed direct oversight of the industries department, reinforcing the state’s commitment to efficient decision-making. He further stated that the government is offering special incentives for major projects while ensuring that both MSMEs and large-scale industries benefit from policy support.
Highlighting opportunities in the textile segment, Yadav pointed out that the country’s first and largest PM MITRA Park is being developed in Madhya Pradesh. The mega textile park is expected to significantly enhance the state’s integrated textile manufacturing capabilities and attract both domestic and global investments.
Referring to the long-standing trade relationship between Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, Yadav mentioned that the late Ghanshyam Das Birla had established Grasim Industries in Nagda, laying the foundation for deeper industrial collaboration between the two states.
He also referred to the inter-state agreement on the long-pending Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal River Project, aimed at improving water availability and supporting industrial as well as agricultural growth.
Expanding Global Trade Prospects
The Chief Minister noted that under the leadership of Narendra Modi, India is strengthening its position as a dependable global development partner, with Madhya Pradesh contributing actively to this growth trajectory. He also underlined increasing textile trade prospects with European markets, signalling new export opportunities for the sector.
The interaction was attended by key dignitaries including Gautam Kumar Dak, Damodar Agarwal, Balyogi Umesh Nath, Raghwendra Kumar Singh, Chandramouli Shukla and Trilok Chhabra.
