Trützschler India reached a major milestone with the grand inauguration of its cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Sanand, near Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
This momentous occasion marks a significant step forward in the company’s vision of combining innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence. The new plant, sprawling across 164,000 square meters with a built-up area of 72,000 square meters, will enhance Trützschler’s capacity to produce high-quality spinning preparation machines, card clothing, and nonwoven equipment for both domestic and global markets.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by several distinguished guests, including Gujarat’s Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Bhai Patel, Member of Parliament Shri Parshottam Rupala, and Mr. Achim Fabig, the Consulate General of Germany in India. They joined the Trützschler and Schürenkrämer families, Trützschler India CEO Mr. Thomson Joseph, and members of the management team to celebrate the occasion, which featured inspiring addresses, networking sessions, and a colorful cultural program.
The Sanand plant is not just a manufacturing unit—it is a forward-looking facility built to meet global standards. It integrates sustainable features such as solar power systems, rainwater harvesting, EV charging stations, and AI-based process optimization. The facility has been constructed in accordance with ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 50001:2018 certifications and is aiming for a Gold rating from the Indian Green Building Council.
It also houses a modern Customer Training Center and an expanded Trützschler Training Academy to support skill development in line with the Skill India Mission. With over 1,000 employees and a strong infrastructure foundation, the new Sanand facility strengthens Trützschler India’s commitment to delivering world-class textile machinery solutions while promoting sustainability, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
