The Indian textile delegation, led by Smt.
Neelam Shami Rao, Secretary Textiles, MoT, held productive meetings on 23rd September 2025 at the Institute of Directors, Pall Mall, London with the Global Head of M&S, the wholesale sourcing team from Costco, smart textile innovator Silver Guard, and a technology company promoting Regen Agri Cotton.
Discussions focused on enhancing sourcing of home textiles and apparel from India, alongside collaboration in sustainability and traceability. Follow-up meetings have been proposed in the coming days to generate further business opportunities. The exchanges were insightful, covering the entire textile value chain—from fibre to fashion—with a strong emphasis on sustainability.
