When pairing white or other light-colored fabrics with red or similarly vibrant zippers, dye transfer may occur. To reduce this risk, be sure to specify your requirements to SBS when placing an order. We can enhance the colorfastness of the zipper to reduce the likelihood of dye transfer. However, please note that this may result in more noticeable color differences in the zipper.
In addition, during the sewing process, the zipper and the fabric must be separated by interlining, which is also conducive to reducing dye transfer.
