Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh launches Bharat Tex
Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh today launched Bharat Tex 2026 in New Delhi.

The third edition of the event will be held from 14th to 17th of July this year at Bharat Mandapam in the national capital. It serves as a major platform for trade, investment, and networking in the textile sector.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Singh said that in the coming days India will emerge as the hub of natural fibre. The Minister noted that people from 141 countries will participate in the event. He also said that India recycles the most amount of cotton in the world and all the countries look towards India in the textile sector. Mr Singh also emphasized the need to integrate AI-based technologies to enhance the effectiveness of Bharat Next.
