Shree Karni Fabcom Limited Teams Up with Italian Fabric Maker
Shree Karni Fabcom Limited has entered into a strategic partnership with a globally recognised Italian manufacturer of technical knitted fabrics to expand the distribution of premium fabric solutions across India.

The collaboration is expected to strengthen the company’s position in the country’s growing premium apparel and performance textile market, particularly in sportswear, swimwear and activewear segments.

In a disclosure submitted to the National Stock Exchange of India under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the company stated that it has secured exclusive rights to promote, brand and market the Italian manufacturer’s premium technical knitted fabric portfolio in India.

The partnership is aimed at addressing increasing demand from Indian apparel brands for advanced stretch fabrics and high-performance textile materials. According to the company, the agreement will enhance access to globally certified technical fabrics that cater to evolving consumer preferences for quality, comfort and sustainability.

The Italian textile group, which has more than six decades of industry experience, operates manufacturing facilities across Italy, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Shanghai and the United States. Its product portfolio includes Nylon Spandex and Polyester Spandex fabrics certified under international standards such as GRS (Global Recycled Standard) and OEKO-TEX Standard 100.

Shree Karni Fabcom said the collaboration aligns with the broader transformation taking place in India’s textile industry, where demand for sustainable and performance-oriented fabrics continues to rise alongside the rapid growth of premium activewear and sportswear categories.

The company, which operates in the textile and knitted fabric segment, focuses on apparel-related textile applications. Through this partnership, it aims to expand its presence in technical fabric categories used in sportswear, beachwear, swimwear and activewear products.

According to the company release, the Italian manufacturer supplies fabrics to several leading global apparel brands, including Adidas, Nike, Speedo, Lululemon, Calvin Klein, Decathlon and Puma. The company highlighted strong growth opportunities in India’s premium apparel and performance textile sector as international quality standards gain wider acceptance.
