Vyshlo Brings Circular Fashion Commerce to Indian Metro Cities

Vyshlo Brings Circular Fashion Commerce to Indian Metro Cities
Vyshlo has launched its peer-to-peer fashion rental and resale platform across major metropolitan cities in India, focusing on the premium occasion wear market through a circular fashion business model.

The platform allows both vendors and individual users to list designer outfits for rental, resale and direct purchase. Categories available on the platform include lehengas, sarees, sherwanis, gowns, Indo-western outfits, festive wear, menswear and kidswear. Vyshlo stated that its services also include doorstep delivery, product pickup and professional dry-cleaning support for rented garments.

In addition to peer-to-peer listings, the company has partnered with fashion designers and introduced its own curated collection, giving customers access to a wide range of premium occasion wear through a single platform.

Vyshlo was established after a trademark-related issue involving its earlier brand identity, VastraLoop. The company said it rebuilt the platform with the objective of making luxury and occasion fashion more accessible without requiring permanent ownership. According to the company, the platform integrates rental, resale and circular commerce into one ecosystem designed for consumers seeking flexibility and variety in occasion dressing.

The company highlighted that India’s wedding and occasion wear market, estimated at more than US$50 billion annually, offers strong growth potential for alternative fashion consumption models. Vyshlo aims to address increasing consumer demand for premium outfits for weddings, festive celebrations and social gatherings without the high expenses and limited repeat usage associated with one-time purchases.

The platform also enables users to earn from underutilised wardrobes by listing garments for rentals or resale, helping extend product lifecycles and promote sustainable fashion practices. Vyshlo has additionally introduced a feature called “Vyshlo Moments,” which records how many occasions a garment has been worn, supporting the company’s sustainability-focused approach.

According to the company, the rental model is intended to reduce overconsumption and dependence on fast fashion by encouraging garment reuse and professional maintenance across multiple events.

Following its launch in India, Vyshlo plans to expand into the United States during the fourth quarter of 2026, targeting markets including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and Houston. The company is headquartered in California, while its Indian operations are managed from Hyderabad.
