Phoenox Textiles Ltd., a UK-based textile manufacturer with more than seven decades of industry experience, continues to strengthen its position in the textile sector through strategic investment and technological advancement.
Established in 1954 in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, the family-owned company has built a strong reputation for quality, reliability and innovation while maintaining its manufacturing roots in the region.
Now managed by the fourth generation of the Mosley family, Phoenox has evolved over the years with a growing focus on carpets, floor mats and play rugs. Around 80 percent of its product range continues to be produced at its Huddersfield headquarters, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to local manufacturing and domestic value creation in the UK.
To support increasing market demand, improve operational efficiency and expand into new business opportunities, the company recently invested in a modern carpet back-coating production line. The project was aimed at increasing production capacity while maintaining consistently high quality standards.
After extensive planning and technical evaluation, Phoenox selected German textile machinery manufacturer Brückner as its technology partner for the project. According to the company, the newly installed coating line delivered strong performance and reliability soon after commissioning, even surpassing the production targets agreed upon during the initial contract phase.
Phoenox stated that Brückner played an important role throughout the project by providing technical expertise, close collaboration and responsive customer support. The partnership is expected to continue long term, with both companies focusing on ongoing technical guidance, maintenance services, system upgrades and efficient spare parts support.
The investment reflects Phoenox Textiles’ broader strategy of combining traditional manufacturing expertise with advanced production technologies to strengthen its competitiveness in the textile and flooring market.
