Italian textile machinery manufacturer Ferraro S.p.A. has completed the acquisition of the “Finishing” business unit of Cibitex S.r.l., a company known for developing and manufacturing advanced textile finishing technologies.

The deal marks a strategic move for both companies, aimed at strengthening their industrial and commercial capabilities in the global textile industry. By integrating Cibitex’s finishing operations, Ferraro will broaden its range of textile finishing solutions while gaining access to the unit’s technical expertise, industry know-how, and established customer base.

For Cibitex, the transaction ensures the continued growth of its finishing business under the leadership of an internationally established textile machinery group. The agreement is expected to provide new opportunities for expansion while maintaining operational continuity.

Both companies stated that customers, business partners, and employees associated with the finishing unit will experience a seamless transition, with a focus on preserving and enhancing the technological and professional strengths built over the years.

Commenting on the acquisition, Ferraro Managing Directors Simone Ferraro and Leo Petruzio said the deal represents a significant step in the company’s growth strategy and strengthens its ability to deliver comprehensive and innovative solutions to textile manufacturers worldwide.
