Thomas Scott (India) Limited (TSIL), a publicly listed fashion company, has entered into a long-term licensing agreement with ABG-Dockers LLC, a subsidiary of Authentic Brands Group, to launch and expand American apparel brand Dockers in India.

Under the agreement, TSIL will serve as Dockers’ exclusive licensee in India and oversee the brand’s complete operations, including product design and development, manufacturing, distribution, retail and e-commerce.

The partnership also appoints TSIL as a Global Designated Supplier for Dockers, allowing the company to manufacture products for the brand’s international partner network. This role is expected to leverage TSIL’s manufacturing capabilities while supporting Dockers’ global supply requirements.

Dockers will initially enter the Indian market as a bottomwear-focused lifestyle brand. Its Autumn/Winter 2026 collection will feature chinos, trousers and denim for men, women and children, alongside a select range of apparel and lifestyle products.

The brand plans to expand its portfolio over time to include shirts, T-shirts, accessories, footwear and innerwear. Its India launch will follow a digital-first approach, with products introduced through dedicated online channels and marketplaces before expanding into exclusive brand outlets, shop-in-shop formats and multi-brand retail.

Vedant Bang, Managing Director of Thomas Scott (India) Limited, said the partnership will build on Dockers’ heritage of comfortable, versatile dressing while positioning the brand as a leading name in bottomwear and lifestyle apparel in India.

Henry Stupp, President, Lifestyle EMEA-India at Authentic, said India represents an important growth market for Dockers and that Thomas Scott’s expertise across product development, manufacturing and retail makes it well positioned to establish the brand in the country.

The partnership combines Authentic’s global brand portfolio with TSIL’s manufacturing and market capabilities, with both companies targeting long-term growth for Dockers in India and international markets.
