B2mstyle

At B2M Style, we originally noticed a massive problem in the modern clothing industry: you are typically either dressing strictly for the office, the gym, or the weekend party. However, modern life simply does not happen in isolated compartments. Today, you are a student, a dedicated professional, a bold dreamer, and a fast-paced mover all in the exact same day.
Therefore, we exist to actively bridge this fashion gap. We proudly stand as an Indian-born, digital-first fashion house creating premium B2M Style Apparel exclusively for the “Modern Multi-Hyphenate.” Whether you are desperately looking for that razor-sharp formal shirt for a Monday presentation, relaxed denim for the weekend, or the perfect breathable dress for your morning flow, our diverse catalog has you covered.

TexMart : The Vision That Led to B2M Style ?

Prince Nandagopal : We kept noticing the same problem in people’s wardrobes: clothing built for one compartment of life — the office, the gym, the weekend — when real life doesn’t stay in one lane. A student today is a professional tomorrow and a “bold dreamer” by evening. B2M Style was built for that person: the Modern Multi-Hyphenate who needs clothes that move as fast as they do.

TM : What does the name “Smart Look, Smarter Price, Perfect Fit” actually mean day to day?

PN : It’s less a slogan and more a filter every product has to pass through. Smart Look means a piece has to work across settings — a shirt that goes from a Monday presentation to dinner without feeling like a costume change. Smarter Price means we’ve cut out the traditional retail middlemen and wholesale markups, so quality doesn’t have to come with a luxury price tag. Perfect Fit means we design specifically for the Indian body — proportions, drape, movement — rather than adapting a Western size chart and hoping it works.

TM : Your vision talks about “sustainable, affordable clothing for trendsetters.” Isn’t sustainable usually the opposite of affordable?

PN : That tension is exactly why it’s in our vision statement and not just a marketing line. The old model says sustainable = expensive, fast fashion = cheap but disposable. We think there’s a middle path: durable, well-made basics that don’t need replacing every season, sold direct-to-consumer so the savings from cutting middlemen go toward better fabric instead of a bigger markup. A shirt you wear for three years is a more sustainable choice than five shirts you wear for three months each — even before you touch a single “eco” label.

TM : Who is the B2M Style customer?

PN : Someone who refuses to be boxed into one identity. They don’t want a “work wardrobe” and a separate “life wardrobe” — they want fewer, better pieces that do double duty. Practically, that shows up as our two core lines: sharp, versatile shirting for men, and soft, easy tops for women that move from desk to weekend.

TM : What does “smarter price” actually look like in practice — how do you keep quality up while keeping cost down?

PN : We sell direct online rather than through multiple layers of distributors and retail markup. That’s the whole mechanism — no smoke and mirrors. It means the money that would have gone to a showroom or a wholesaler goes into the fabric and construction instead.

TM : How do you think about “trendsetters” in your vision — are you chasing trends or setting them?

PN : We’d rather build wardrobe staples that quietly outlast a trend cycle than chase every micro-trend that’s gone in a month. A trendsetter, to us, isn’t someone wearing the newest thing — it’s someone whose look is confident and consistent enough that other people notice it, regardless of season.

TM : “Perfect Fit for the Indian physique” is a bold claim. What does that mean concretely?

PN : It means we’re not taking an international size block and relabeling it. Fit is designed around how our customers’ bodies actually move and sit through a full day — sitting at a desk, catching an auto-rickshaw, standing through a long evening. Comfort under real movement is the test, not just how a piece looks on a hanger.

TM : Being digital-first and India-born — how does that shape the brand differently than a legacy retailer?

PN : Being digital-first means we hear directly from customers — reviews, repeat orders, what sells out — and can respond quickly instead of waiting for a seasonal buying cycle. Being India-born means the fit, the price sensitivity, and the “many roles in one day” reality of our customer aren’t an afterthought — they’re the starting brief.

TM : What’s the biggest misconception people have about affordable fashion brands?

PN : That affordable automatically means disposable. We built the brand specifically to break that link — premium textile quality and thoughtful construction at a price that doesn’t require choosing between your wardrobe and your budget.

TM : Where do you see B2M Style five years from now?

PN : Still anchored to the same three words — Smart Look, Smarter Price, Perfect Fit — just expressed through more categories and, hopefully, a wardrobe that’s genuinely built to last, for a customer who never had to choose between price and durability in the first place.
