Myntra Expands Partnership with Desigual, Launches Apparel Collection in India

Fashion e-commerce platform Myntra has expanded its partnership with Barcelona-based fashion brand Desigual by launching the brand’s apparel collection in India, strengthening Desigual’s presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing fashion markets.

The newly introduced collection features around 90 styles across categories such as dresses, denim and jackets. The range showcases Desigual’s distinctive design language, including vibrant silhouettes, statement denim, graphic knitwear and bold outerwear.

The apparel launch follows the successful introduction of Desigual’s accessories, handbags and backpacks on Myntra in 2025. With the expanded offering, the brand aims to reach a wider audience of digitally connected Indian consumers while strengthening its footprint in the country.

Myntra also plans to roll out seasonal collections throughout the year, further expanding Desigual’s product portfolio for Indian shoppers.

The expansion comes as demand for international fashion brands continues to rise on the platform. According to Myntra, Tier II cities contribute nearly 45% of the demand for international brands, reflecting growing interest beyond major metropolitan markets.

Myntra currently offers more than 500 international brands across fashion, beauty and lifestyle categories. Founded in Barcelona in 1984, Desigual targets millennials and Gen Z consumers with its accessible luxury fashion offerings. Through Myntra’s base of over 75 million monthly active users, the brand expects to significantly expand its reach across India.

Commenting on the expansion, Venu Nair, Chief of Strategic Partnerships and Omnichannel at Myntra, said the strong response to Desigual’s accessories highlighted the increasing demand for design-led international fashion among Indian consumers. He added that Myntra’s platform enables global brands such as Desigual to scale their presence and tap into India’s rapidly evolving fashion market.
