SNITCH Acquires Berrylush to Enter Women’s Fashion Market
Bengaluru-based fashion brand SNITCH has acquired women’s western-wear label Berrylush, marking its official entry into the women’s fashion segment as it expands beyond its successful menswear business.
Announcing the acquisition, SNITCH Founder and CEO Siddharth Dungarwal said the company will partner with Berrylush co-founder Anusha Chandrashekar and her team to rebuild and relaunch the brand as “Berrylush 2.0.”
According to Dungarwal, the acquisition represents the beginning of SNITCH’s journey to create a globally recognized Made-in-India women’s fashion brand, combining Berrylush’s established market presence with SNITCH’s expertise in scaling fashion businesses.
As part of the integration, SNITCH plans to publicly share its first 100 days of the transformation, offering insights into product development, brand positioning, execution strategies, challenges, and key learnings.
While the financial details and ownership structure of the transaction remain undisclosed, the acquisition enables SNITCH to enter the women’s fashion category through an established brand instead of building a new label from the ground up.
Founded by Anusha Chandrashekar and Alok Paul, Berrylush has built a strong presence in the affordable women’s western-wear segment with products including dresses, tops, co-ords, jumpsuits, skirts, and trousers, sold through its website and major online marketplaces such as Myntra.
The acquisition gives SNITCH access to Berrylush’s existing customer base, supplier network, marketplace presence, product portfolio, and category expertise. In return, Berrylush will benefit from SNITCH’s rapidly expanding omnichannel retail network, which now includes more than 100 stores, international operations, and a data-driven fast-fashion model focused on rapid product development and distribution.
The move aligns with SNITCH’s broader expansion strategy. The company reported unaudited operating revenue of approximately ₹900 crore in FY26, an increase of around 80% from ₹498 crore in the previous fiscal year, while maintaining an EBITDA margin of 2–3%. Around 60% of its revenue came from online sales, with the remaining 40% generated through offline stores.
According to Tracxn, Berrylush reported annual revenue of approximately ₹44.2 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2025, although founder Anusha Chandrashekar recently described the company as a ₹75 crore brand.
SNITCH had also raised ₹278 crore in 2025 through a funding round led by 360 One Asset to accelerate its offline expansion and long-term growth plans
