Bharat Tex 2026 Set to Showcase India’s Textile Power on the Global Stage

India is gearing up to host the third edition of Bharat Tex 2026, the country’s largest global textile event, from July 14–17, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Organized by the Bharat Tex Trade Federation with support from the Ministry of Textiles, the event will bring together the entire textile value chain on a single international platform.

Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 5F vision—Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign—Bharat Tex has evolved into a major hub for sourcing, investment, innovation, policy discussions, and global business partnerships. The event is expected to attract more than 7,000 buyers, 130,000 trade visitors, over 1,600 exhibitors, and showcase more than 20,000 textile products across 1.6 million square feet of exhibition space.

The exhibition will cover the complete textile ecosystem, including fibre, yarn, fabrics, apparel, fashion, home textiles, technical textiles, and allied industries. Prominent textile clusters such as Tirupur, Ichalkaranji, and Ahmedabad will also be highlighted, showcasing India’s manufacturing capabilities and regional strengths.

Bharat Tex 2026 will feature over 350 speakers from more than 20 countries, including industry leaders, policymakers, and global experts. Discussions will focus on trade and investment, sustainability, circular economy, technology innovation, fashion, and policy reforms aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of the textile industry.

State participation is another key highlight, with sponsor states including Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh. Several other states and union territories will also showcase investment opportunities, textile clusters, industrial infrastructure, and policy support.

The event is expected to facilitate around 3,500 curated B2B meetings, over 100 B2G interactions, and the signing of more than 20 MoUs across trade, technology, sustainability, and investment sectors. International delegations from countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Spain, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, New Zealand, UAE, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka are expected to participate, creating new avenues for global sourcing and collaboration.

Bharat Tex 2026 will also host the CITI Textile Sustainability Awards 2026, recognizing excellence in resource efficiency, circular economy practices, renewable energy adoption, responsible business operations, and sustainable innovation.

To enhance digital engagement, organizers have launched the Bharat Tex 2026 mobile app and a pre-fair directory, enabling exhibitors, buyers, and delegates to schedule meetings, discover exhibitors, navigate the venue, and build business connections before and during the event.

With its expanded global participation, strong focus on sustainability, innovation, and investment, Bharat Tex 2026 aims to strengthen India’s position as a trusted global textile sourcing destination and a key driver of the future textile economy.
