Sanathan Textiles Doubles Technical Textile Yarn Capacity at Silvassa
Sanathan Textiles Limited has commenced commercial production from its expanded Technical Textiles yarn manufacturing facility in Silvassa, significantly strengthening its production capabilities in the high-growth technical textiles segment.
The expansion doubles the company’s Technical Textiles yarn capacity from 9,000 MTPA to 18,000 MTPA, taking Sanathan Textiles’ total installed yarn capacity across its Silvassa and Punjab manufacturing units to 488,250 MTPA. The enhanced capacity is designed to meet growing demand for specialised yarns across diverse industrial and performance-driven applications.
Technical textile yarns produced by the company serve key sectors including automotive, agriculture, defence, infrastructure, roads and railways, sportswear, healthcare, industrial safety, and protective applications such as fire-retardant clothing.
With more than 30 years of industry experience, Sanathan Textiles has established itself as one of India’s leading yarn manufacturers, with a strong presence across polyester filament yarns, cotton yarns, and technical textile yarns. Its manufacturing facilities in Silvassa and Punjab are equipped with advanced automation, including automated warehousing, transportation, and package handling systems.
