Aastha Spintex Expands into Value-Added Fabrics After Falcon Yarns Acquisition
Aastha Spintex to expand into value-added fabrics

Aastha Spintex Limited has announced plans to expand into value-added fabric products, marking a strategic move to strengthen its presence across the textile value chain and enhance long-term profitability.

The Gujarat-based cotton yarn manufacturer said the expansion will build on its existing raw material base, manufacturing expertise and the state’s well-established textile ecosystem. By moving closer to end customers, the company aims to diversify its product portfolio, improve margins and create sustainable long-term growth.

The announcement comes shortly after Aastha Spintex completed the acquisition of Falcon Yarns Private Limited, a move that has significantly strengthened its manufacturing capabilities.

Following the acquisition, the company’s annual spinning capacity has increased from 7,700 metric tonnes (MT) to 17,457 MT, more than doubling its production capacity and reinforcing its position in the cotton yarn market.

Commenting on the expansion, Managing Director Divyang Jashwant Patel said the company has consistently pursued long-term growth by building a more integrated textile business and believes the current expansion is the right step towards moving further along the textile value chain.

Aastha Spintex has also secured customer orders worth approximately ₹76.78 crore. According to a stock exchange filing, the order book for the period from July to October 2026 represents more than 21% of the company’s FY2024-25 revenue, highlighting continued demand for its cotton yarn products.

Based in Gujarat, Aastha Spintex operates an integrated spinning facility in Halvad, producing carded, combed and compact cotton yarn for the weaving, knitting, hosiery and garment industries in both domestic and international markets.
