Beyond Retro x Seasalt: Creative Circularity in Denim

Beyond Retro x Seasalt
Introducing a limited-edition collection in collaboration with Beyond Retro, designed to give quality fabrics a second chapter while paving the way for a more responsible clothing future.

Each piece is completely unique thanks to the hand-selected combination of colors and the grain of each patch. These patches have been carefully cut from denim garments which cannot be resold or re-worn, collected and sorted in Beyond Retro  India factory.

”Sifting through an ocean of second-hand materials, they’ve reimagined classic designs in a collection that is unique and perfect for modern life.’’ Steven Bethell, co-founder of Beyond Retro

Using pre-washed denim that’s already been worn and loved bypasses the manufacturing and dyeing process normally used for virgin denim.

Using a precise number of patches for each piece and incorporating existing seams helps reduce waste even further. The pieces are based on three of our favorite workwear-inspired wardrobe staples: a pinafore, denim jacket, and crops.

These are garments we turn to season after season and were the obvious choice to complement the textures and washes of the world’s most famous workwear fabric.
