The August edition will bring together suppliers, buyers and designers from 19 countries and regions, with sustainability, lifestyle trends and responsible innovation taking centre stage.
Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Autumn Edition 2026 is scheduled to take place from August 18–20, 2026, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Covering more than 100,000 sqm, the event will showcase a wide range of home textile products and solutions from international and Chinese suppliers.
With sustainability requirements and changing lifestyles influencing the home furnishing market, the exhibition will highlight products that combine design, functionality and responsible innovation. Product categories will include upholstery and sofa fabrics, bedding, curtains, sun protection textiles and other home textile applications.
The event will feature exhibitors from 19 countries and regions, reinforcing its role as an international sourcing platform. A dedicated Türkiye Zone will showcase manufacturers known for home textile production and design, while major Chinese textile hubs such as Haining, Hangzhou Linping, Huzhou, Shaoxing, Tongxiang and Wujiang Shengz will present their latest developments in curtains, upholstery, sofa fabrics and printed textiles.
India will also be represented at the exhibition, with DBS Lifestyle India Private Limited participating in the design section.
Strong International Buyer Participation
International buyer interest remains a key feature of the upcoming edition, with buyers from 72 countries and regions pre-registered. Participating buyer organisations include major names such as Alibaba Group, IKEA, Inditex, Li & Fung, Nitori, Tesco and Walmart, along with retailers, e-commerce companies, home furnishing businesses and global sourcing organisations.
The hosted buyer programme will further support business networking and targeted sourcing, with delegations representing 21 markets.
Sustainability and Lifestyle Trends in Focus
Beyond product sourcing, the event will feature a programme of trend presentations, seminars, guided tours and industry discussions.
The Intertextile International Lifestyle Trend 2027: “Breathe Up!”, presented by NellyRodi Agency, will explore emerging lifestyle and interior trends through three key concepts: RE-DECORATE, RE-CONNECT and RE-USE.
Sustainability will also be addressed through the Intertextile Talks, held under the Go-Green theme. The sessions will provide a platform for exhibitors to introduce environmentally conscious textiles and technologies to buyers looking for new sourcing opportunities.
Other sessions will examine urban renewal, global home furnishing strategies, international expansion and cross-category collaboration, connecting creative trends with commercial opportunities.
With its combination of international suppliers, strong buyer participation, sustainable textile solutions and trend-focused programmes, Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Autumn Edition 2026 is expected to provide industry professionals with insights into the future direction of the global home textile market.
The exhibition is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry of CCPIT and the China Home Textile Association (CHTA).
