Youngone Trading Partners with 3S Machinery to Deploy 180 Circular Knitting Machines Globally
The KRW 10 billion agreement will supply Korean-made circular knitting machines to Youngone Trading’s production bases in India, Uzbekistan, Kenya and other markets over two years

Youngone Trading has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 3S Machinery, a South Korean manufacturer specialising in circular knitting machines, to introduce 180 domestically produced textile machines across its global production network.

The agreement, signed on August 6, 2026, at Youngone Trading’s headquarters in Seoul, has a total project value of approximately KRW 10 billion. Under the agreement, 3S Machinery will progressively supply circular knitting equipment to Youngone Trading’s production bases over the next two years.

The machines will be deployed in Uzbekistan, India, Kenya and other countries, supporting Youngone Trading’s expanding global manufacturing operations.

Strengthening Global Textile Production

The partnership is intended to establish a stable equipment supply system for Youngone Trading’s international production network while improving manufacturing efficiency and product quality.

For 3S Machinery, the agreement provides an opportunity to expand the overseas presence of its Korean-made textile machinery and demonstrate its technology in major apparel manufacturing markets.

Youngone Trading and 3S Machinery expect the cooperation to develop into a win-win model between Korea’s textile machinery and apparel manufacturing industries, while contributing to the international competitiveness of Korean textile equipment.

Park Jae-yong, President of Youngone Trading’s Textile Business Division, said the agreement represents an important step beyond conventional equipment procurement, with the partnership aimed at strengthening cooperation with domestic textile machinery companies and improving global supply-chain competitiveness.

Cho Seong-hwan, CEO of 3S Machinery, said the long-term supply agreement recognises the company’s technological capabilities and quality competitiveness. He added that 3S Machinery will focus on providing stable supplies of knitting equipment to Youngone Trading’s global production bases.

Circular Knitting Technology

Circular knitting machines are widely used to manufacture knitted fabrics for products such as T-shirts and sportswear. The machines continuously knit yarn in a cylindrical configuration, enabling high productivity and consistent fabric quality.

The technology is an important part of modern apparel manufacturing, particularly for companies producing large volumes of knitted garments.

Supporting K-Textile Competitiveness

Youngone Trading operates global production facilities and supplies apparel in cooperation with international outdoor brands. Its manufacturing network includes operations in Bangladesh, Vietnam and Uzbekistan, while the company also produces raw materials through a vertically integrated production system.

The new agreement with 3S Machinery will extend the use of Korean-made textile equipment across this international manufacturing network.

By combining Youngone Trading’s global apparel production capabilities with 3S Machinery’s circular knitting technology, the partnership aims to strengthen equipment supply, production efficiency and quality while creating greater opportunities for Korean textile machinery in international markets.

The initiative also reflects a broader effort to build stronger connections between Korea’s textile machinery manufacturers and apparel producers, supporting the overseas expansion and long-term competitiveness of the K-textile industry.
