Mellowdrama introduces upcycled waste fabric

Mellowdrama

Mellowdrama has unveiled “AlterEgo,” its newest ready-to-wear line made from leftover fabric. The collection encourages sustainable fashion techniques while emphasizing themes of uniqueness and self-expression.

The brand called the collection “a call to embrace your true self” in a press statement. The items are boldly stylish and adaptable, appropriate for daily wear. The series combines eye-catching and distinctive styles with soothing comfort.

Cotton and twills are among the textiles used in the collection, which offers structured pieces and textured separates with soft shapes. Notable styles include metallic trench coats, fringed distressed denim, and black outfits with ruffles and zipper accent.

“AlterEgo” is currently offered at Mellowdrama special store in The Dhan Mill in New Delhi as well as on its direct-to-consumer online store. With this creative method of reusing fabric waste, London College of Fashion graduate Aaina Mahajan spearheads the brand’s dedication to sustainable fashion.
