Reliance Brands Ltd. (RBL) has announced an exclusive partnership with global shapewear and apparel brand SKIMS, marking the brand’s official entry into India. The first SKIMS retail stores are set to open in Delhi and Mumbai, followed by a phased expansion across physical retail and digital platforms.

Founded in 2019 by Kim Kardashian and Jens Grede, SKIMS has become one of the world’s fastest-growing lifestyle brands, offering women’s underwear, shapewear, loungewear and menswear with a strong focus on comfort, fit and technical innovation.

Under the partnership, Reliance Brands will manage SKIMS’ retail and e-commerce operations in India, leveraging its extensive experience in introducing premium global fashion brands to the Indian market.

The move is part of SKIMS’ broader international expansion strategy, following successful retail launches in London and Dubai. The company sees India as a high-growth market driven by rising demand for premium international fashion and comfort-focused apparel.

Isha Ambani said the collaboration reflects Reliance Brands’ commitment to bringing globally recognised brands to Indian consumers. Kim Kardashian noted that SKIMS has already seen strong interest from Indian customers and expressed excitement about opening its first stores in the country. Jens Grede added that Reliance Brands’ expertise in building international brands in India makes it the ideal partner for the company’s expansion.

Established in 2007, Reliance Brands operates more than 1,855 retail doors across India and manages a portfolio of leading international luxury and premium brands. SKIMS has also expanded beyond shapewear into underwear, loungewear and menswear, with retail stores across the United States and Mexico alongside its global e-commerce business.
