Meera Industries Wins ₹7.95 Crore Order from DNB Textiles for Twisting Machines
Meera Industries, a leading manufacturer of advanced textile machinery, has secured a domestic order worth ₹7.95 crore from Surat-based DNB Textiles. The order forms part of DNB Textiles’ ongoing capacity expansion plans aimed at strengthening its yarn manufacturing capabilities.
Under the agreement, Meera Industries will supply a complete twisting and winding machine line designed for the production of BSY filament twisted yarn, which is widely used in fabric manufacturing and various industrial applications. The machinery will be capable of processing polyester, viscose, cotton, and blended yarns, supporting the growing demand for value-added textile products.
Known for its expertise in high-speed Two-for-One (TFO) twisting technology, Meera Industries specializes in producing equipment for high-twist yarn applications that enhance yarn strength, quality, and performance.
The company stated that the project is scheduled for execution during the second quarter of FY 2026-27, with delivery and installation to be completed as per the agreed terms of the contract.
Meera Industries also highlighted the positive outlook for India’s textile and value-added yarn sector, citing improved export opportunities arising from trade agreements with key markets, including the UAE, Australia, and EFTA nations. The company believes these agreements could boost demand for specialized yarn products and support the growth of India’s textile manufacturing ecosystem.
The order further reinforces Meera Industries’ position in the textile machinery segment while supporting DNB Textiles’ expansion efforts in one of India’s largest textile manufacturing hubs.
