Tajikistan Textile Forum 2026 to Attract Global Investors

International event highlights textile expansion, sustainable manufacturing and investment opportunities across the cotton-to-garment value chain

Tajikistan is set to bring together global textile leaders, investors, policymakers, and industry experts at the International Textile Forum Tajikistan 2026, aiming to accelerate growth in the country’s textile sector and attract international investment. The forum will be held in Dushanbe on September 23, 2026, creating a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and business partnerships.

Organised by the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan with support from the Government of Tajikistan and the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF), the event will focus on strengthening the country’s textile industry, showcasing investment opportunities, and connecting global companies with emerging projects.

The forum will highlight opportunities across the complete textile value chain, including cotton cultivation, fibre processing, yarn production, fabric manufacturing, and finished textile products. Tajikistan aims to develop integrated textile clusters and increase domestic processing capacity while moving towards higher-value textile exports.

Sustainability will be a key theme of the event, with Tajikistan positioning itself as a potential green textile hub supported by its renewable energy resources. Around 98% of the country’s electricity generation comes from hydropower, providing an advantage for investors looking to establish environmentally responsible manufacturing operations.

The government is also offering investment support through tax incentives, industrial development initiatives, and opportunities for international companies to participate in textile manufacturing projects. The country’s strategy focuses on improving cotton processing, expanding textile clusters, and increasing competitiveness in global markets.

With growing demand for sustainable sourcing and diversified textile supply chains, Textile Forum Tajikistan 2026 is expected to serve as an important platform for investors seeking new opportunities in Central Asia’s textile sector.
