Allcargo Strengthens Textile Supply Chains with Nationwide Logistics Expansion

India: Allcargo Logistics has strengthened its nationwide logistics network to support micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) operating in India’s textile, handicraft and leather sectors. The company aims to improve supply chain efficiency, market connectivity and delivery reliability through technology-driven logistics solutions.

Key textile manufacturing hubs such as Tirupur, known for knitwear production, and Surat, one of India’s largest textile centres, are among the major clusters expected to benefit from the expanded logistics infrastructure. As textile businesses continue to serve domestic and international markets, reliable transportation and digital supply chain management have become increasingly important.

Allcargo Logistics is addressing common supply chain challenges faced by textile MSMEs, including fragmented sourcing networks, seasonal demand fluctuations and complex distribution requirements. The company offers multimodal transportation, digital shipment tracking and integrated logistics services to help businesses improve planning, optimise cargo movement and ensure timely deliveries.

Ketan Kulkarni, Managing Director & CEO of Allcargo Logistics, said efficient, technology-enabled logistics have become essential for MSMEs seeking to expand their market presence and remain competitive. He added that digital tools, AI-enabled capabilities, data-driven planning and enhanced shipment visibility are helping businesses make faster decisions, improve productivity and respond more effectively to customer demand.

The company has also strengthened its sustainability initiatives by focusing on transportation planning, load optimisation and greater supply chain visibility. These measures are intended to reduce operational inefficiencies, improve resource utilisation and support the development of more sustainable logistics networks.

As part of its nationwide expansion, Allcargo Logistics has increased its transshipment network from 21 to 71 centres. Its Allcargo Extended Reach (AER) network now covers 100% of India’s serviceable PIN codes, with mapped PIN codes expanding from 21,000 to over 32,000. Directly serviceable PIN codes have also grown from 4,900 to more than 10,000 through its Allcargo Distribution Centres.

With its expanded logistics infrastructure and digital capabilities, Allcargo Logistics aims to help textile MSMEs strengthen supply chains, improve market access and support long-term business growth across India’s manufacturing ecosystem.
